Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Charleston Restroom Trailers LLC ("CRT"), we understand that event plans can change. This policy outlines our procedures for cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling.
 

1. Full Refund Policy
All payments made to CRT are fully refundable in the event of cancellation by the customer.
 
1.1 How to Cancel
To cancel your rental, please contact us as soon as possible:

1.2 Refund Processing

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable)

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of cancellation confirmation

  • You will receive email confirmation of your cancellation and refund

     

2. Rescheduling Events
We are happy to work with you if you need to reschedule your event.
 
2.1 Rescheduling Process

  • Contact us as soon as you know you need to reschedule

  • Subject to equipment availability on your new date

  • No rescheduling fees if done with adequate notice

  • Your payment will be transferred to the new event date
     

2.2 Availability
While we make every effort to accommodate rescheduling requests, trailer availability on your new date cannot be guaranteed, especially during peak season (spring and summer months).


3. Cancellation by CRT
 
3.1 Force Majeure Events
CRT may cancel a rental due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • Severe weather (hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes)

  • Acts of God

  • Government orders or restrictions

  • Equipment damage or loss

  • Other force majeure events
     

3.2 Refund in Case of CRT Cancellation
If CRT cancels your rental, you will receive a full refund of all payments made within 5-10 business days.
 

4. Non-Payment Cancellation
If full payment is not received at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date, CRT reserves the right to cancel the rental. In such cases:

  • The reservation will be canceled

  • Any partial payments made may be refunded less an administrative fee

  • The trailer will not be delivered

     

5. No-Shows and Access Issues
 
5.1 Delivery Issues
If CRT arrives at the venue and cannot deliver the trailer due to:

  • Insufficient access for delivery vehicles

  • Lack of suitable parking location

  • No electrical or water supply as specified

  • Venue restrictions not previously disclosed
     

The rental fee is non-refundable as CRT has fulfilled its obligation to attempt delivery. This is outlined in our Terms of Service.
 
5.2 Preventing Access Issues
To avoid these situations, please:

  • Confirm venue access with your event location in advance

  • Verify electrical and water hookup availability

  • Ensure you have any required permits

  • Contact us if you have any questions about delivery requirements

     

6. Damage and Cleaning Fees
While this policy covers cancellations and refunds, please note:

  • Damage beyond ordinary wear and tear may result in additional charges

  • These charges are separate from the rental fee

  • The Renter is responsible for the trailer's condition during the rental period (see Terms of Service for details)

     

7. Weather-Related Guidance
 
7.1 Customer-Initiated Weather Cancellations
If you choose to cancel due to weather concerns, our standard refund policy applies (full refund available).
 
7.2 CRT Weather Monitoring
We actively monitor weather conditions and will proactively contact you if we believe weather may impact your event or our ability to safely deliver/remove equipment.
